IPL 2021: ₹12 lakh on MS Dhoni for slow over-rate in 1st game vs Delhi Capitals

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has slapped a fine of Rs 12 lakh on CSK Skipper MS Dhoni for maintaining a slow over-rate in their opening match against Delhi Capitals.

IPL officials in a statement said that as it was CSK's first offence of the season under the IPL code of conduct relating to a minimum over-rate offences.

As per IPL rules, a 20 over innings should get over within 90 minutes if there are no interruptions.
