The 2021 Hyundai Tucson has been finally unveiled globally and the fourth-generation model gets a bold and radical design in a major departure from the current generation. The all-new offering gets a new parametric grille that incorporates half-mirror type LED daytime running lights, while the new projector headlights are positioned lower in the front bumper. The new crossover also sports shorter overhangs, flared wheel arches, and more prominent character lines, while the rear sports the distinctive T-shaped taillights. The 2021 Tucson has also grown bigger in proportions and will be offered in two wheelbase options. The long-wheelbase option has grown notably by 150 mm and will be a seven-seater. Inside, the new Tucson sports large 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen, while the gear lever has been replaced by buttons on the centre console. The new Tucson will come with a host of petrol and diesel engine options and will also get driving modes and new driver assistance systems as well. The SUV will first go on sale in South Korea very soon followed by other international markets. The India launch can be expected sometime in 2022.
