Qatar is pushing the envelope of innovation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. While most sporting facilities are ready and waiting to host test events, one such facility called Ras Abu Aboud Stadium is nearing completion. What's interesting about this stadium is that once the FIFA World Cup gets over, the entire facility can be dismantled with its parts used to create sporting facilities across Qatar and overseas.

The metal containers, the concrete and all the other on-site material will be reused and this facility is one of the models for sustainability according to the Qatari organisers.

The 40,000 capacity stadium will be completed later this year and is set to host round of 16 matches during the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
