Royal Challengers Bangalore returned to winning ways as they pulled off a thrilling 7-run victory against Rajasthan on Saturday. Batting first, a half century by Steve Smith powered the Royals to 177/6. Bangalore had a decent start to their run chase but Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal fell on consecutive deliveries as RCB was reduced to 102/3. Then walked in Ab de Villers and blew away Rajasthan with an unbeaten 22-ball-55. His blistering effort took Bangalore over the finish line in the last over as they have now claimed 12 points from 9 games. Rajasthan on the other hand were handed their 6th loss in last 7 outings.
