After SOS from the Delhi chief minister and a rap from the high court, some of the Capital biggest hospitals got Oxygen refill late on Tuesday night. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in the Capital were merely hours away from running out of stock. Gangaram Hospital received 14,000 cubic metres of oxygen in two separate late night/early morning consignments, enough to hold them for a day or two, NDTV has reported. Desperate calls were made from hospital authorities and the Delhi govt to the Centre as facilities ran low on Oxygen on Tuesday. The Centre had assured all help. The Delhi government had told the court earlier that Inox, the main vendor for the state's hospitals, was moving its quota to Uttar Pradesh.
