After Rihanna, Greta Thunberg supports farmers protests

Hours after international pop icon Rihanna tweeted in support of the protesting farmers, teen climate activist Greta Thunberg extended her support to the farmers' protest at Delhi borders against the controversial agricultural laws. "We stand in solidarity with farmers protest in India", Thunberg tweeted late on Tuesday night.

The support from the two high profile celebs has brought international focus of the farm protests. Lakhs of farmers across India have been on protest since September demanding the centre repeal laws they say will leave them at the mercy of large corporate firms.
