Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday released a White Paper on what he called the mismanagement of Covid crisis by the Modi govt. The Congress MP underscored that the aim of this white paper on Covid-19 is not finger-pointing at the government but to help the nation prepare for the third wave of infection. Stressing that the third Covid wave is inevitable, Rahul urged the government to prepare in advance to avoid unnecessary deaths.
"It's clear that management of the first & second wave of Covid was disastrous, & we've tried to point out the reasons behind it," the Congress MP said.
He also called for a special Covid assistance package for the poor who have been hit the hardest by the pandemic.
