Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sooryavanshi' has entered the ₹100 crore club in just five days. It's the first Bollywood movie to hit this milestone in the Covid-19 era.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Sooryavanshi' has become the first film after the January 2020 release 'Tanhaji', which starred Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in pivotal roles, to achieve the ₹100 crore mark at the domestic box office.

'Sooryavanshi' also features Katrina Kaif and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles, with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh doing cameos. This is the fourth franchise in Shetty’s cop universe after 'Singham', 'Singham 2' and 'Simmba'.

With much excitement, actor Ranveer Singh shared a story on Instagram in which his mother was seen standing in front of the film's poster as it breached ₹100 cr mark in five days.
