All encroached land to be freed: BJP MLA

Sarbanada Sonowal-led BJP government would free all occupied land and hand over the land to unemployed youth or the people in the agrarian sector so that the land can be put to proper use and people of Assam can become self-reliant. Speaking at the working committee meeting of the Mahila Morcha of BJP in Biswanath, MLA Padma Hazarika said that all land illegally occupied or encroached upon will be freed soon so that it can be used more productively and the state can be made self-reliant in the production of meat, milk and other farm produce. Hazarika also spoke about the BJP government’s schemes and programmes for the upliftment of women folk of the state.
