Amitabh Bachchan's NFT collection reaches ₹3.8 crore on Day 1 of auction

Amitabh Bachchan's NFT collection has received bids worth $520,000 which is about Rs 3.8 crore, on the first day itself.

Big B's 'Madhushala' NFT, which is a collection of poems by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, recorded in his voice, received the highest-ever bid in India at $ 420,000 on Day 1 of the auction.

Big B's NFT collection also has seven autographed posters from his iconic movies and half a dozen collectibles of 'punks and NFTs art and posters.

The auction for Amitabh Bachchan's NFTs, opened on November 1 and will close on November 4, and is being hosted on BeyondLife.club.

Amitabh Bachchan was the first Indian actor to take a deep dive into the nascent world of digital assets, by putting up NFTs for auction.

An NFT is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore, not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.
