Former India cricketer VVS Laxman officially took over as the chief of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru on Monday.
Sharing pictures from his 'first day in office', Laxman was excited about the new role and wrote that he was looking forward to working with the future of Indian cricket.
The BCCI approached Laxman to take up the job after former NCA chief, Rahul Dravid, left the role as he was appointed as the head coach of India's senior men's cricket team. Laxman will leave his role as the mentor of the IPL franchise SunRisers Hyderabad and commentary responsibilities to work at the NCA.
