Australian Police on Saturday arrested dozens of protesters in Sydney and Melbourne after hundreds demanding 'freedom' demonstrated against the harsh Covid-19 measures implemented by the Australian government.
Around 300 people participated in anti-lockdown protests in Melbourne, small protests also broke out in Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.
Strict measures have been enacted by the Morrison govt after Australia witnessed a steady surge in the covid cases.
With nearly 750 deaths, Australia has over 26,200 confirmed covid-19 cases.
