The Bombay High Court has adjourned Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's bail plea to Wednesday, which means the star kid will stay in jail for another day. The matter has been posted for Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 pm.
On Tuesday, former Additional Solicitor General Mukul Rohatgi, who is arguing for Aryan, said that a "young man" should be sent to rehab rather than jail. Rohatgi ripped through the NCB's claims on WhatsApp chats, saying there is no material to show that Aryan financed the illicit trafficking of drugs.
Rohatgi said, none of the Whatsapp chats being cited by the NCB, which were recovered from Aryan's phone, relate to cruise party. Rohatgi argued, that there is no case in any of those chats that had anything to do with onset of this whole saga, and hence the charge of conspiracy, doesn't stick.
Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3, after the NCB busted a rave party on a Goa-bound cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai, following which Aryan Khan and several others were arrested. Aryan has been in jail for over 20 days.
