After the special NDPS court denied bail to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, his lawyers moved the Bombay High Court against the order.
23-year-old Aryan has been denied bail by the special NDPS court earlier on Wednesday. The bail application filed by two other accused, arrested along with Aryan in the Mumbai cruise ship drugs bust case, has also been rejected.
Aryan Khan's bail application is likely to be mentioned in the Bombay High Court on Thursday morning. His judicial custody also gets over on Thursday. As a formality, his custody will be increased by the special court.
The Narcotics Control Bureau reportedly submitted chats between Aryan and an upcoming Bollywood actress discussing drugs during the Mumbai cruise party. Aryan Khan’s chats with some drug peddlers have also been handed over to the court.
In his first response after bail was denied to Aryan Khan, NCB zonal chief reportedly said, 'Satyamev Jayate', adding that let his detractors say anything, he will just continue his work.
