While China continues to provoke in Ladakh region and escalate tensions, the Indian army rescued three Chinese nationals in North Sikkim’s plateau area on September 3. Reports said the Chinese nationals had lost their way and entered the plateau, located at about 17,500 feet and were spotted by a unit of the army stationed in the area. The army provided the Chinese nationals with medical assistance including oxygen, food and warm clothes. The army in a statement said the three Chinese nationals were give appropriate guidance after which they returned to their destination.
