'Asbestos in baby powder': Johnson & Johnson knew for decades

A shocking report by Reuters states that global pharmaceutical giant Johnson and Johnson knew for decades that its baby powder contained asbestos. The report comes in the backdrop of various lawsuits being faced by the company, that accuse its powder of causing ovarian cancer. Reuters uncovered documents from 1971 to 2000 that showed some of the company's internal testing showed positive results for asbestos. Johnson and Johnson lawyers have called the report 'an absurd conspiracy theory' however their shares have plunged by more than 10%.
