Newly-appointed Test skipper Pat Cummins on Wednesday confirmed Australia's playing XI for the 2nd Ashes Test in Adelaide starting Thursday.
In a huge boost to the hosts, an in-form David Warner has been declared fit to play. The opening batter was nursing sore ribs after the 1st Test.
Cummins also confirmed that Jhye Richardson will replace an injured Josh Hazlewood for the Day-Night Test. The fast bowler last played a Test in 2019 against Sri Lanka. There were no other changes to the XI that crushed England at the Gabba to give Australia a 1-0 lead in the 5-match test series.
