Maruti Suzuki posted a total sales of 1.24 lakh units in August, 2020, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year and 15% on sequential basis. The country's largest carmaker by market share exported 7,920 units in August 2020, a drop of 15.3% over August 2019.
Mahindra & Mahindra, on the other hand, reported a 16% year on year fall in automotive sales to 30,426 vehicles in August 2020 compared to 36,085 vehicles during August 2019.
