Australia will look to secure 85 million Covid-19 vaccines, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said. He added that the estimated cost of the vaccine is $1.24 billion. The country has struck 2 deals that would allow free doses to be rolled out in 2021, if approved for use, Morrison stated. Further, around 25 million people will start receiving doses from January, if the Australian medical experts give the vaccine a green light. Currently, Australia has 26,279 confirmed cases and 753 people have so far died.
