Sydney's famous Bondi Beach was closed on Saturday by the police after crowds exceeded a limit of 500 people amid the outbreak of the coronavirus. The crowd even disobeyed the social distancing guideline of staying 2 meters apart and authorities cited 'irresponsible behavior'. According to New South Wales Health Minister, other beaches would also be subjected to similar strict rules to tackle the spread of Covid-19. The closure of the beach comes as the number of cases of the coronavirus in Australia passed 1000.
