Babul Supriyo quits: Mamata Banerjee questions why Bengal ministers are being dumped

As Union ministers from Bengal quit ahead of the cabinet reshuffle, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee questioned the move to dump all  ministers from the state. She asked how did ‘Babul and Debashree suddenly become wrong for BJP?’ 

Ahead of a major cabinet reshuffle, Union Minister of State for Environment Babul Supriyo resigned from the Union Council of Ministers on Wednesday. Supriyo confirmed his resignation through a post on social media. MoS Woman and Child Development Debasree Chaudhuri has also resigned.

Many other Union ministers, including Health Minister Harsh Vardhan have resigned as well.
