This Jhumka isn't getting lost in any bazaar for sure. Bareilly finally seems to have got its 'Jhumka'. Weighing almost two quintals and suspended from a 20-feet high pole, this huge custom-made gold shiny ‘jhumka’ made of brass and was inaugurated by union labour minister Santosh Gangwar on Saturday. The iconic jhumka from Bareilly has been the subject of many songs from the film industry. Officials said the idea behind the landmark is to give the city a distinct identity.
