Belarus protest leader has reportedly been abducted after mass anti-gov't march. Unidentified, masked men detained detained Maria Kolesnikova in central Minsk and drove her off in a minivan.

Meanwhile, police in Belarus said on Monday that more than 600 people were arrested at weekend protests as authorities intensified efforts to end weeks of demonstrations against President Alexander Lukashenko.

Lukashenko is facing an unprecedented challenge to his 26 years in power, with massive crowds protesting against his disputed re-election on August 9.
