Bengal Assembly polls: Trinamool candidate dies of Covid-19

Kajal Sinha, the Trinamool Congress leader and candidate from Khardaha has died due to coronavirus. 

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee she was shocked, while announcing Kajal's death on twitter.

Bengal, which is electing its next government in a record eight-phased elections, has been witnessing an alarming spike in Covid cases.

On Saturday, Bengal saw the highest single-day spike with 14,281 Covid-19 cases.
