A BJP worker was found hanging at his home in Nandigram in West Bengal on Thursday in a suspected case of suicide. The incident triggered tension in the area during polling with the BJP alleging that the victim, Uday Dubey, was getting death threats from TMC workers for campaigning for the BJP. In another incident, a BJP polling agent at booth number 173 in Keshpur was allegedly beaten by TMC workers. BJP leader Tanmay Ghosh's car has also been vandalised, news agency ANI reported. In Debra constituency, TMC accused BJP candidate Bharati Ghosh of giving money outside the booth to voters. The ruling party also alleged that BJP workers were not allowing its booth agents to get inside the booth in Nandigram.
