Bengal polls: Amit Shah holds roadshow in Nandigram amid 'Jai Shri Ram' chants

Ahead of the second phase of elections in Bengal on April 1, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday held a massive roadshow in the high- profile Nandigram constituency where CM Mamta Banerjee is contesting against former aide and BJP leader Subhendu Adhikari. Shah, with Adhikari by his side, waved at enthusiastic crowds who greeted the leaders with 'Jai Shri Ram' chants.

Amit Shah said people’s enthusiasm made it clear that BJP will win from Nandigram, reiterating that the easiest way to bring 'parivartan' is to make sure Mamata Didi loses He also questioned the safety of women in the state while referring to the woman who was raped within 5-km radius of the place where Mamata Banerjee is staying.
