Bihar MLA-cum-shooter Shreyasi Singh wins second gold medal at National Shooting Championship

Bihar's BJP MLA Shreyasi Singh won her second Gold medal at 64th National Shooting Championship on Sunday held in Patiala. The first Gold for Shreyasi came in the shotgun event while the second was in the double trap event.

The sitting MLA Shreyasi took to social media and posted pictures on Instagram with a statement, saying she is thankful to her 'karyakartas' in Jamui for handling all the work in Jamui while she was away.

Shreyasi, who is an Arjuna Awardee, has won successive medals in the Commonwealth Games. She won a Silver medal at the 2014 Glasgow games while clinching Gold in the 2018 Gold Coast Games.

Shreyasi contested in her maiden election from Jamui assembly constituency on BJP ticket in 2020 and won the election by 41,000 votes.
