According to reports, BJP and JD(U) have zeroed in on evenly splitting the Assembly seats in the upcoming Bihar elections.
Both parties will contest 119 seats while Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha will contest from 5 seats.
But there is trouble in NDA paradise as dependable ally Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party is still negotiating its share. Speculations have been mounting as deliberations between Chirag Paswan and JP Nadda continue.
The likelihood of LJP walking out of the alliance to contest alone in 143 constituencies remain rife.
Bihar will go to polls in 3 phases starting on October 28.
