Bihar polls: PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi on campaign trail

Ahead of the crucial assembly elections, the political temperature in Bihar is set to rise several notches as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi begin campaigning in the state on Friday. They will address a series of rallies for their respective alliances in the state.

Prime Minister Modi will address three rallies – at Dehri-on Sone, Gaya and Bhagalpur to seek support for NDA nominees for different assembly constituencies going to vote in the first phase on October 28. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will reportedly join Modi at the rallies in Dehri and Bhagalpur.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address two rallies -- at Hisua in Nawada and Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur district. RJD said that Tejashwi Yadav will join Gandhi at Hisua.
