BJP's Tamil Nadu manifesto: 50 lakh jobs, separate agriculture budget

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday released its manifesto for the 2021 Tamil Nadu election in Chennai. Released by Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and VK Singh, the BJP manifesto primarily focuses on the farming sector, including a special budget for agriculture.

The BJP has also promised 50 lakh jobs for the people of the southern state. Other promises include a sum of Rs 6,000 being given to fishermen every year, free tablets for students of Class 8 and 9 as well as doorstep ration delivery.

The BJP manifesto also promises total prohibition, free two-wheeler driving license to girls between 18 and 23 years of age.
