BJP uses dance clip of Karti Chidambaram's wife in TN poll promotional video

The Tamil Nadu BJP used a dance clip of Congress MPKarti Chidambaram's wife in a poll promotional video. The Bharatanatyam artiste and medical practitioner Srinidhi Chidambaram later hit out at Tamil Nadu BJP for the embarrassing blunder.

Titled "the lotus will bloom", The BJP posted a music video of the song in which Ms Chidambaram appears for two seconds.

The clip was lifted from the song 'Semmozhiyam', a song written by former CM Karunanidhi whose DMK is in opposition to the ruling BJP-AIADMK government in the state.  

"Ridiculous that the BJP has used my image for their propaganda’, Ms Chidambaram wrote on Twitter. She also wrote in Tamil that lotus will never bloom in Tamil Nadu.
