The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted interim relief to Raj Kundra in a 2020 adult film case. Kundra now has protection from arrest for a week in the case registered by Mumbai police in 2020. However, Kundra's anticipatory bail application is yet to be taken up by the court.
Shilpa Shetty's husband, Raj Kundra, had filed an anticipatory bail plea in the Bombay High Court last week in connection with the 2020 case, claiming he was falsely implicated.
Kundra has been dominating headlines since his arrest in a fresh case in July this year for his alleged involvement in creation and distribution of porn
The Bombay High Court has told the Mumbai police to respond by August 25 to Kundra's pre-arrest bail plea.
Raj Kundra is currently in judicial custody, after being arrested on July 19, in a fresh case related to production and distribution of pornographic clips on some mobile apps.
