K-pop megastars BTS have garnered a combined 126.2 million followers on Instagram after setting up personal accounts on the social media site.

According to the band's label, the septet joined the site on Monday with group member V gaining the most followers, over 19.5 million and counting.

BTS previously interacted on social media through the band's official Instagram page, managed by their label. They also have their Twitter account, currently shared between the 7 members. Aside from that the group have also been using Weverse, a fan-artist communication platform launched by BigHit in 2019.

Funnily enough, several of the members took to Weverse a day after joining Instagram to ask the fans 'how to use the app'.

The group are currently on a 'vacation' with the company requesting that the 7 be left to celebrate the holiday season with their families for the first time since their debut.
