While defending champions Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi by 57 runs with their power-packed performance to reach the IPL finals, it was Jasprit Bumrah's match-winning 4 for 14 in the second half that became the highlight of Thursday's evening.
Bumrah who was named the Man of the Match also bowled a maiden in his four overs, tilting the match in Mumbai's favour at the very beginning of the game. The 26-year-old said that he was ok with not getting the wickets and winning the tournament, but he is always ready when the captain wants him to bowl.
Bumrah went on to remark jokingly, 'batsmen have been taking all the awards, so it's good to get it as a bowler.' Bumrah has taken 27 wickets in all 14 matches he has played in this IPL season so far.
