Akasa Air, India's youngest airline, is celebrating its one-year anniversary of commercial operations with a grand sale offering up to a 15% discount on flight tickets to 16 domestic destinations served by the airline. The sale is already underway and will be open until August 7.

To take advantage of the discount, customers can conveniently book their flights through the Akasa Air app or website. Both saver and flexi fares are eligible for the discount. Travelers are required to use the code "AKASA1" on the website and "APPLOVE" on the app to avail the benefits of the sale. Furthermore, passengers who opt for the app-exclusive booking will enjoy a zero-convenience fee, saving up to ₹350 on each booking.

Akasa Air has gained popularity for its modern fleet and passenger-centric services. The airline operates Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which boast ample legroom and convenient USB ports on most planes, allowing passengers to charge their electronic devices during the flight. Additionally, Akasa Air offers the Café Akasa menu, which includes over 60 meal options, ranging from healthy and festive choices to gourmet and fusion delicacies.

Since its inaugural flight in August 2022, Akasa Air has achieved remarkable growth. The airline proudly claims to have served over four million revenue passengers and operated more than 900 weekly flights. Its extensive network now comprises 35 distinct routes, connecting 16 major cities across India. These cities include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, and Kolkata.

Akasa Air had made headlines in the aviation industry by becoming the first airline in Asia to include the B737-8-200 aircraft in its fleet. On August 1, the airline marked a significant milestone with the arrival of its 20th aircraft, registered as VT-YAV, at Bengaluru International Airport. This achievement demonstrates the airline's rapid growth and commitment to delivering an exceptional travel experience to its passengers.

As the anniversary sale gains momentum, travelers are urged to take advantage of this rare opportunity to explore India's diverse destinations at discounted rates. Akasa Air's commitment to making air travel affordable, along with its focus on passenger comfort and convenience, continues to position it as a preferred choice for travelers in the country.
