Amazon has reduced the price of its Prime Lite membership. The e-commerce giant launched Prime Lite in June for a price of Rs 999 a year. Now it has been cut to Rs 799, as per Prime support page.
Amazon has also made some changes on the benefits received via Prime Lite membership. The plan earlier used to offer free-two day delivery. Now the plan includes one-day delivery, two-day delivery, scheduled-delivery and same day delivery.

The membership now supports only one device instead of two. Meanwhile Prime Music subscription is still unavailable while the videos are limited to only HD quality. Other benefits such as morning delivery at Rs 175 per item, no-cost EMI, and 6-month free screen replacement still remain.
Even with the changes made to Prime Lite membership, the price and the benefits in Amazon Prime are still the same. Prime membership still costs Rs 299 for 1 month, Rs 599 for 3 months and Rs 1,499 yearly.
Unlike Prime, the Prime Lite membership do not have one-day delivery, discounted morning delivery at Rs 50 per item, unlimited Prime Video device support and 4K resolution support
