Elon Musk has decided not to join Twitter's board even after buying a 9 percent stake in the social media giant a few days ago.

This comes days after Twitter announced it entered into an agreement with Musk that will give the billionaire a seat on its board. The social media giant even said Elon's term will be expiring at its 2024 annual shareholders meeting.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is Twitter's largest shareholder with 9.2% stake.
