Since October 7 over 7,600 rockets have been fired towards Israel. Israeli ambassador Naor Gilon has also called for India to proscribe Hamas as a terrorist organisation like many other nations have done.

"It is time for India to declare Hamas as terrorist organisation in India," he said, adding many countries have already done that, as per a PTI report.

He also thanked India for its 100% support to Israel in its anti-terror operations against Hamas, at an interaction with journalists.
