Banks across the country will be closed for a total of 12 days in July due to regional holidays and scheduled weekends, as per the Reserve Bank of India's holiday list for the year.
This includes both the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays. While banks operate on the first and third Saturdays of each month, they will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays.

On July 16th, Uttarakhand observes Harela, while Muharram is observed on July 17th in several states.
Despite the closures, online banking services will continue to operate, enabling customers to perform transactions via bank websites, mobile apps, or ATMs for urgent needs.
Customers are advised to plan their visits to bank branches carefully, taking into account the non-working dates.
