Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Reveals How Prime Minister Narendra Modi Surprised Him

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was in India recently. During the tour he announced multiple tie-ups with Indian business giants such as Reliance Industries and Infosys.

Hunag also had a fireside chat with Reliance Industries CMD, Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai. During this conversation, the Nvidia chief recalled his first meeting with India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Sharing the details of that meeting, Nvidia CEO explained how the meeting left him surprised. Hunag told Ambani, "The thing that I really love, and when I met Modi ji, the first time he asked me to meet his cabinet was to – this has got to be about six years ago. He asked me to address this cabinet about Artificial Intelligence. And I was so surprised. It was literally the first time any government leader, any national leader asked me to address his cabinet on this particular topic. It was long before anybody was talking about Artificial Intelligence.”
