70,000 new recruits could receive employment letters from prime minister Narendra Modi during the next stage of the Rozgar mela, which is set for June 13.
The prime minister's office (PMO) reports that PM Modi will also speak to the new hires via video conference. The Rozgar Mela initiative of the Centre was introduced in October of last year, and the planned drive on June 13 will take place at 43 centres.
On October 22, the inaugural Rozgar Mela was held, and 75,000 new recruits received appointment letters. Similar numbers of appointment letters were made available for the second, third, fourth, and fifth editions, which took place on November 22, 2022, January 20, April 13, and June 13, respectively.
The newly hired employees, who were chosen from applicants from all over the nation, will work for a number of government agencies, including the departments of financial services, posts, education, and home affairs, as well as the ministries of defence, revenue, and health and family welfare, as well as the departments of atomic energy, railways, audit and accounts, and atomic energy.
According to the PMO, the Rozgar Mela is anticipated to be a catalyst for creating jobs and giving young people worthwhile possibilities for empowerment and involvement in national development.
