Rozgar mela: PM Modi hands out 51,000 appointment letters in virtual ceremony

In a virtual event held today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to fresh recruits as part of the 8th edition of Rozgar Mela. The event, spread across 45 locations in the country, saw the induction of recruits into various central armed police forces (CAPFs) and the Delhi Police.

Addressing the new recruits, PM Modi expressed his confidence in India's economic growth, stating that the nation is on track to become one of the world's top three economies within this decade. "When I give this guarantee, I do that will full responsibility," he assured. He also highlighted the rapid growth of the automobile and pharmaceutical sectors, predicting significant job opportunities in the near future.

The newly appointed personnel will take on roles including Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (General Duty), and Non-General Duty Cadre Posts across organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The distribution of appointment letters is part of the government's commitment to prioritize employment generation.

The Prime Minister's Office emphasized the significance of the Rozgar Mela in tackling the unemployment challenge. "The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation," the office stated. It further emphasized the event's potential to catalyze employment opportunities and empower the youth, fostering their active participation in the nation's development.
