Over a year after eliminating 10,000 jobs, Microsoft is reportedly laying off around 1500 employees, primarily affecting its Azure cloud and Hololens mixed reality teams.
As per the Business Insider's report, the tech giant's latest cuts will significantly impact these divisions as part of its ongoing restructuring strategy along with impacting staff involved in advanced projects such as space exploration and quantum computing.
