Virat Kohli's endorsement innings continue strong as brands come out in support

Despite stepping down as as the captain of Indian Test cricket team, Kohli remains King for brands as his endorsement innings are continuing strong.

Luxury carmaker Audi and sportswear major Puma said they still have confidence in the strong brand equity of Virat Kohli and he has inspired and will continue to inspire those who follow cricket as well as who don't.

Last week, Kohli who endorses a host of brands including Puma, Audi, Hero MotoCorp, Tissot, MRF, Vivo, Blue Star and Myntra, stepped down from the captainship of the national Test cricket team.

Kohli is among one of the highest-paid endorsers of the country and holds the top position in the Duff & Phelps’ Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2020 with a brand value of  $237.7 million. 

According to the Hopper Instagram Richlist 2021, Kohli gets paid Rs 5 crore per sponsored post on Instagram. He has 179 million followers on Instagram and 46 million on Twitter. He has been India's most valuable celebrity for four consecutive years.
