Zepto, the newly crowned unicorn in the e-commerce sector, has claimed the top position as the favored workplace for Indian professionals, according to a ranking released by a prominent recruitment platform.
Other startups featured in the ranking, following closely behind the e-grocery app Zepto, include EV cab aggregator BluSmart, fintech firm Ditto Insurance, audio OTT platform Pocket FM, and Skyroot Aerospace.
LinkedIn unveiled its 'Top 25 Indian Startups List,' an annual compilation of emerging companies that professionals aspire to work for. The ranking is based on data from nearly 10 million LinkedIn members.
Zepto's ascent to the top spot marks a significant achievement, moving up three positions from last year. It's attributed to the company's robust employee growth, high jobseeker interest, active member engagement within the organization, and its ability to attract talent from LinkedIn's prestigious Top Companies list.
Nirajita Banerjee, Head of Editorial at LinkedIn India, noted, "It's truly remarkable that 14 of the 20 startups featured on this year's list are new entrants, underscoring the immense potential and astonishing pace of innovation in India's startup space. These startups are actively seeking talent, presenting a fantastic opportunity to be part of India's dynamic startup ecosystem and contribute to its growth story."
