Celebrations in Rameshwaram ahead of Maha Shivratri

Celebrations have kick-started in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu ahead of Maha Shivratri. The 12-day long celebration began with a procession of Lord Shiva from the Arulimagu Ramnath Swamy temple. Maha Shivratri will be commemorated on the 21st of February.
