Escalating the row with Bengal govt over the attack on BJP chief JP Nadda's convoy last week, the Centre has summoned two top state officials to Delhi once again. And Mamata Banerjee govt has again refused to send them. The state govt has sought a video meet instead, citing Covid. Home ministry reportedly wrote to the Bengal govt on Thursday evening summoning the chief secretary and police chief on Friday evening. Bengal had refused to send the officials when they were summoned last week. The Centre has also asked for 3 IPS officers on deputation to be sent back, which has also been refused by the state.
