Centre to assist kids orphaned by Covid-19 with higher education loan

The Central government on Saturday announced that it will support the children orphaned by Covid-19 and will ensure their free education.

In a release, it said that the children who lost parents to the pandemic will get a monthly stipend once they turn 18 and a fund of Rs 10 lakh when they turn 23 from PM CARES.

The government will also assist them to get higher education loans and the PM CARES will pay the interest.
