A 69-foot prototype of a new high speed magnetic levitation train has been unveiled in China. The train is capable of hitting speeds of 620 kilometers per hour. The magnetic levitation train has reportedly been developed with high-temperature superconducting (HTS) technology, which uses magnets that allow it to 'hover' above the track. The technology used enables it to make travel much faster and lighter. However, it might be 3 to 10 years before the train becomes fully operational.
