Lok Jan Shakti Party leader Chirag Paswan has decided to move the court if his uncle and rebel leader Pashupati Paras is given a berth in the union cabinet as an MP from his party.

Chirag Paswan said that he has informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a letter that making Paras a cabinet minister from LJP quota isn't possible as LJP's executive board expelled him.

Chirag, who is locked in a bitter feud with his uncle over struggle for power since his father — Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan— passed away, said he had also written to the Election Commission about Paras.

Chirag’s reaction comes amid buzz of the cabinet expansion on July 8.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, former Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and senior party MP Narayan Rane may soon be part of the prime minister’s team.
